Can you identify other “connectivity” elements in some of our movement studies this year? Look back to September…pilates, placement, ballet barre, jazz & modern combinations, yoga, meditation, guest artists: Giordano, Kelly - hip hop, John Lehrer…etc…
Space Chase
Comment on your personal experience with the Space Chase collaborations. Any thoughts on how developing “dances” in alternative spaces affects how you view those spaces or a traditional performance space such as a stage.
How did your experience with the Space Chase influence how you perceive dances and what we consider dance? and where dance should be performed?
How might this project affect/influence your study of other visual and/or performance arts?

Please address the discipline and respect necessary to participate in class as a student, but more importantly as a dancer. Please apply this frame of thought to dance as an art form and the studio experience.
Improvisation: partners, flocking, platforms
Please reflect on the improvisations we have explored in class. Feel free to comment on your preference of improvs as well as their application to the choreographic process and how these structures might be used in developing choreography and/or making dances.

How is the life these young dancers experience different from yours?
Do you have a passion? what is it? How do you “live” or experience your passion?
Can you relate to these girls and their passion? If so, how are you similar or how do you “fuel” your passion daily or on a regular basis?
Any other thoughts?
